Weaving Workshop
Once again last night, we pushed everything in our upstairs loft area into a corner, spread out some vintage blankets, laid out some delicious homemade snacks, and welcomed some of our favorite customers to another Tigertree Workshop!
This was one of our most anticipated workshops- we wanted to keep it small and easy and were really pleasantly surprised when tickets sold out in an hour when we first posted the event last month! My apologizes to everyone that wasn’t able to snag a ticket, but another class announcement will be coming soon!
The workshop was led by Esther Hall, who certainly knows her way around a scane (scane? spool? ball?) of yarn. She is the owner of Yarn It and Haberdashery in Grandview as well as a teacher at CCAD and the leader of pretty much everything craft and art related that happens in our city! She walked us through how to make our own small wall hanging instead of dishing out the crazy amounts of money that folks are charging for them these days. As it turns out the process is pretty simple and we had a great time watching everyone’s creations come together!
